Snake River Animal Shelter received a $6100 check Tuesday from Mario Hernandez of Teton Toyota. During the month of December, Teton Toyota of Idaho Falls pledged a $100 donation to the Snake River Animal Shelter (SRAS) for every vehicle sold at the Idaho Falls dealership. They sold 61 cars in the month of December. Mario Hernandez said, “There are a lot of worthy causes in Idaho Falls, but Snake River Animal Shelter is the one that is closest to our heart. So we are happy to support them any way we can.” There were six SRAS board members present at the presentation. SRAS Board Vice President, Becky Holzemer with Citizens Community Bank accepted the check and said, “Mario, Buddy and the whole Teton Toyota family really stepped up for this community and we really appreciate their support not only for this check, but for their support at our events throughout the year. They really live what they believe and we are grateful for that.”
