As part of Harvest Fest, Snake River Animal Shelter will host a Pet Costume Contest. There are 5 categories to enter. As a Harvest Fest Character you can dress your pet up in anything related to Fall or the harvest season. Halloween is right around the corner and your pet can debut it's costume in our costume contest. Do people tell you your pet looks like a celebrity, Grouch Marx maybe. If they do, then you need to enter him in the "You look just like..." contest. And sometimes, pets and owners look alike, or maybe just dress alike. Well, now you could win a prize for it. Finally, if you have the best dressed pet around, then you must enter him/her in the Best Dressed category. There is a $10 entry fee for each category and you may enter your pet in as many categories as you like. All the proceeds go to benefit the Snake River Animal Shelter. Each contestant will get a free photograph.

After five winners are chosen, judges will choose a "Best Overall" winner.
In addition to the Costume Contests, Snake River Animal Shelter will also have a microchipping clinic. At Harvest Fest chipping will only be $25 and all the proceeds will go to SRAS.
