SRAS is on a roll, and with the overall project separated into 3 phases, our momentum is getting stronger. An anonymous donor has come forward to give SRAS $20,000 to go toward building the SRAS Community Dog Park. He understands that having the dog park on the SRAS site will be an integral part of accomplishing the mission to save more animal lives and promote quality care and compassion for animals in the upper Snake River valley.
However, the donor requested that SRAS put in another $20,000 from events in 2010. THEN he has challenged the community to match the total $40,000. A successful community match would place $80,000 in the challenge fund and would allow the kick-off of the first phase of the facility. The donor has done his part, the SRAS board has done their part, now we need YOUR help!
“If we’re successful with the $40,000 community challenge we’ll be able to start construction of the dog park this summer and hopefully finish this fall.” said Mary Sturgill, the SRAS executive director. “It would be a wonderful gift to our community to have the dog park up and running this year.”
