It was a beautiful spring day for the 3rd Annual Snake River Animal Shelter Rummage Sale, Bake Sale and Raffle and it was a huge success. The preparation started months ago but the physical work started on Thursday, April 8 at 5pm. That is when we began receiving donations and with the help of several volunteers got tables set up and started organizing things. Friday, April 9, was also a very busy day with more donations pouring in. When we opened the door at 8am on Saturday there was a big crowd waiting to shop and it was a constant stream of traffic with most people finding several treasures. We raised more than $5000.00 that will go toward building the shelter. We are very excited about all the donations and support we received for this event and want to thank everyone who was involved in making it such a success. We hope to make it even bigger and better next year so be sure watch for us next April!
